Your guide to doing London in the warmer months properly, Frankie style!
When London wakes up in spring, and leans into summer, everything shifts. The parks fill, the restaurants move further out onto the pavements, and the city enjoys itself.
If you’re planning a stay with us, here’s how to make the most of it.
Start your mornings slowly
There’s no rush! Spring mornings in London are made for wandering out for coffee, not alarms.
Whether you’re in Soho, Fitzrovia or Covent Garden, you’re never more than a few minutes from somewhere great, independent cafés, outdoor tables, and people watching while the city warms up.
Parks, but do them properly
It’s a fact that London does green space better than most cities. In spring, head to Regent’s Park or St. James’s Park for blossom trees and open fields.
Come summer, it’s all about long afternoons in Hyde Park or sunset views from Primrose Hill. Frankie tip is don’t over plan it! You could even stumble across a beautiful park and choose to stay there – grab a picnic blanket, pick up something good to eat, and stay longer than you meant to.
Lunches that turn into afternoons
Spring turns London social again. Start with a casual lunch and don’t be surprised if it becomes drinks, then dinner. Streets are full of energy, tables outside, no one in a hurry and even better, if you’re staying with us, you’re right in the middle of it all. No taxis, no planning, just step outside and see where it goes.
Evenings that don’t end
This is where London really comes into its own. Rooftop drinks, open windows, late dinners, West End shows, and that feeling that the night’s just getting started. From Soho to Covent Garden, everything is within walking distance.

A few Frankie tips before you go
Explore more! Walk everywhere – it’s the best way to see the city, midweek stays are underrated (and often quieter, for those who don’t like really busy crowds) and lastly, pack for everything – it’s still London, after all.
